Collection: Bleeding Control Kits and Products

Urgent First Aid® was one of only 13 commercial entities that served on the Stop the Bleed® Advisory Board at the White House, and Launched the Stop the Bleed® bleeding control program. We know Bleeding Control.
A Stop the Bleed® kit is a trauma first-aid kit designed to control severe, life-threatening bleeding (exsanguination) until emergency medical services can arrive. The initiative was launched by the White House and the Department of Homeland Security in 2015 to equip and train bystanders to assist in emergencies. Death by severe blood loss can occur in just two to five minutes (faster than the four to six minutes leading to brain death with cardiac arrest).

In addition to our Bleeding Control Trauma Kits you see below (featuring official Stop the Bleed® licensed content) we also offer the essential refills including CoTCCC approved tourniquets, QuikClot® and more. All our bleeding Control kits are available in Molle Bags, Nylon Canvas Zip Bags, Vacuum Seal, or Wall Mountable and Portable moisture and dust resistant polypropylene or sell cases.

The Stop the Bleed® campaign. It is the product of a joint effort between the National Security Council, the White House, the Department of Defense, the Office of Homeland Security, and the Office of Health Affairs. Express Companies, Inc. (parent company of American CPR Training® & Urgent First Aid®) is proud to have participated in the launch of this program at the White House, as well as being a part of a select group of only 13 organizations invited by the National Security Council to comprise the final Advisory Round Table group with the 7 Government agencies that met for the final review and approval of the Stop the Bleed® campaign at the White House prior to public unveiling of the program. The purpose is to inform the general public and lay-rescuers of the importance of hemorrhage control in the event of mass-casualty events such as natural or man-made disasters. The supporting research is based on response to injuries sustained during wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.
